Green Built Michigan Builder Members have completed, at a minimum, the 3-Hour Official Builder Training to activate their membership. Green Built Michigan Builder members receive monthly electronic news updates, have the opportunity to regularly attend both local and state education programs, and are able to reach out to others across the state. Green homes take more than just the builder. Find a list of Green Products and Services. All Green Built Michigan members complete the 3-Hour Advanced Builder Training to ensure a basic understanding of green building. Raters for Green Built Michigan have completed the Rater Training, are required to member of the Residential Energy Services Network (Resnet), and hold appropriate liability insurance. Only those who meet these requirements are able to certify homes to achieve the Green Built Michigan Certification.
